Deeside Industrial Park East is now benefitting from a major rebranding exercise to provide a cleaner and more modern feel, as can be seen from the new format of the website at: www.deesideindustrialparkeast.co.uk which can be accessed from a range of mobile and hand held devices, including the iPhone and the iPad.
Last month, one of the most significant deals at the estate was signed, which saw the arrival of one of the biggest tenants, Triumph Group Holdings UK Ltd. This global leader in supplying and overhauling aerospace systems and components operates in 64 locations worldwide, and their latest expansion drive has seen them sign a straight ten-year lease for a 23,500 sq ft unit at Deeside.
“Triumph Group is a great tenant to add to the existing occupier profile at Deeside”, said Andrew Pettitt, Industrial Fund Manager at landlord Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS). “We are pleased that their latest expansion drive has seen them arrive at Deeside, which is testament to the quality accommodation on offer at the estate. This is a significant deal, not only for Deeside as an estate, but also in terms of the regional market.”
The first gym to arrive at Deeside, HFF (Health-Fitness and Fight) Solutions, has been a great success since opening up this summer. Having signed for a ten year lease, HFF is the first gym to be opened by martial arts expert and celebrity trainer, Ian Munzberger. He says, “It’s great to have opened up at Deeside, especially as there aren’t many gym operators in the area. We have a good demographic of clients and the central location and good catchment area really ticked all the boxes for us. We’ve only been open for a short while and we’re really pleased with the performance to date.”
Deeside Industrial Park East owner USS investing c. £750,000 into the refurbishment of the 21,665 sq ft Unit 49. Receiving a full new external envelope, the unit is now a modern, high quality industrial warehouse. The unit has also received a landlord’s enhancement package, where the office block was extended to offer prime office accommodation to potential new occupiers.
